Whats the difference between these 2 hosts? Aren't you guys run by the same company. Seems like you both have shared hosting. (The same shared hosting?)
I plan on launching a (IPB) community not knowing how large and successful it will turn out. How long do you think shared hosting will be able to last me till? If possible can the site be upgraded to a VPS or dedicated from Froghost? (If so at what price)
Also what makes froghost different than hostgater? Or in other words, why should I choose froghost over hostgater?
PS: I like the speeds here, very fast site. I'm impressed.

1) Frog Host is unlimited hosting, and Hawk Host is not. Hawk Host also offers reseller plans / VPS, and is cheaper. But yes we're owned / run by the same company (Hawk Host Inc)
2) It's all user based -- if you've got 100,000 users and 1,500 active every minute of every day, you're probably going to need to be off shared hosting. If you order cPanel with the VPS we can assist in the migration of the site between companies.
3) We're a smaller, more personal company. We become familiar with you and your account and you'll become familiar with us. Most people like the personalized service we can offer compared to larger companies where you're just a number to them.
