The name of this forum section is titled:
The Reviews
The good, the bad, and the ugly. Tell us how you think we're doing.
So, I suppose that this posting falls under either the bad or the ugly portions of that sub-title.
1. At the moment in time that I post this forum message, the Frog Blog has not been posted to by site personnel since February 5th, 2011. That's over five and one half months. It seems that the news at Frog Host is no news.

3. A check of the profiles for site admins Cody Robertson, Tony, and Brian reveals that all three of them were last active on the forums here on July 26th, 2011, which was only two days ago. While this is a positive sign, it is not one that is immediately obvious to those who drop by to check out the forums here.
4. The number of forum postings here for those same three site admins reveals little activity, relative to the amount of time that they have each been registered on these forums.
Cody Robertson - 20 active posts (Member Since 18 Jan 2010)
Tony - 29 active posts (Member Since 18 Jan 2010)
Brian - 27 active posts (Member Since 19 Jan 2010)
5. A visit, today, to the Frog Host facebook page reveals that only 4 facebook users like the Frog Host facebook page. The Frog Host facebook page contains no discussions and a single photo on it. Little wonder, then, why only 4 people like it. What's to like? There's no content of substance on the Frog Host facebook page.
6. Having followed the web hosting brand that is Frog Host going back almost a year and a half, primarily just to see and to learn how a brand is launched and handled and developed in the web hosting sector, from my limited perspective, it has been interesting to follow the progress, or lack thereof, as the respective case may be.
7. Cody Robertson stated back on February 11th, 2010, "[T]he business models are completely different and independent of Hawk Host." From my vantage point, limited though it invariably is, I would rate the Hawk Host business model as superior to the Frog Host business model. In my considered opinion, one of the things that the Frog Host business model suffers from is a lack of energy and focus. If anyone within the firm is actively championing the Frog Host brand, it certainly is not evident on its face.
NOTE: I have not used Frog Host as a web host. Thus, this review does not - and cannot - reflect my opinion of the quality of Frog Host's web hosting services. Rather, this review pertains to the company's chosen utilization of the brand, itself.
